When my husband suggested Whispering Waters as a weekend retreat, I was a bit worried about the time it would take to get there. Of course I didnâ€™t know where Paniely Poru was located. When we reached, I was pleasantly surprised that it took only about an hour and a half to reach this amazing riverfront resort from Kochi. The food and the quality of the room were excellent. It is rare to find such wilderness so close to the city of Kochi.

This place has been quite different. As women, we received the respect as well as the privacy we seek when we stay at resorts.
